Conquering "The Big One"

You’ll need a good head for heights and nerves of steel to follow in the footsteps of Jerry Pardoe, a member of our Panel Products division, as he scaled the heights of the UK’s tallest rollercoaster.

The Big One, a steel rollercoaster located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach opened 25 years ago and at that time was the tallest rollercoaster in the world.

After climbing the 420 steps to the 235ft summit, Jerry was able to take in a stunning bird’s-eye view of the 42-acre amusement park and the surrounding area.

Well done Jerry, next stop Everest!
