Services Palmer Timber has invested continually in quality woodworking machinery. In 2003 we added four new machines to our already impressive mill
|
- Weinig Unimat 3000 Moulder
This machine is capable of producing a superb finish whatever the profile
- Weinig Unimat 30EL Moulder
This is a versatile moulder capable of machining widths up to 300mm
- Raimann ProfiRip KM310
This saw is used to multi-rip and pre-straighten timber prior to moulding. This is particularly useful when producing hardwood mouldings eg handrails and door frames
- Dimter Opticut S75
This is an automatic optimising cross-cut saw giving us extremely accurate cross cutting capabilities.

In 2005 due to outstanding results we had experienced by using the Raimann ProfiRip KM310 to pre-straighten hardwoods we added a Raimann ProfiRip KM310M which enabled us to handle up 115mm thick material to produce larger sections like newel posts.
In 2006 we plan to replaced our existing beam saw for cutting panel products with the latest technology.
